Chambers of Xeric (Solo) Speed-Chaser is a master combat achievement which requires the player to complete a Chambers of Xeric solo run within 21 minutes.
Strategy
Look for a raid with extremely easy and simple rooms, if possible, try to align this with the grandmaster variant. There is a 4 minute gap between this and the grandmaster variant, though taking either master or grandmaster variants are acceptable for this achievement.
Ideal layouts for a raid can include:
- Vasa, Vespula, Tekton, Tightrope, Crabs
- Vasa, Vespula, Tekton, Crabs, Guardians
- Vanguards, Tekton, Vespula, Tightrope, Crabs
Vasa is a very fast room when a twisted bow is used alongside a dragon warhammer, assuming that the hammer does land at least once in the fight. Vespula can be easily taken out by using either the twisted bow or a Tumeken's shadow. Tekton can be easily dealt with using osmumten's fang if no scythe of vitur or inquisitor's mace is available. Tightrope can be skipped if needed and crabs are fairly straightforward to do, assuming the ideal layout. This will result in 4 brews, 2 restores, prayer enhances and overloads, which is more than enough for an experienced player at Olm.
Vanguards are only put on the list as it is possible to clear them fast with good gear. Vanguards can provide 3-6 brews, 0-3 restores and 1 overload, which is even more supplies, but they do take longer to kill compared to the other rooms.
Muttadiles can provide a full set of one brew, restore, prayer enhance and overload, however, due to the high variance in each fight this room can consume a lot of supplies if unlucky and thus discouraged from attempting this room for the sake of time.
