Brutus Speed-Trialist is an elite combat achievement which requires the player to kill Brutus in less than 2 seconds.
Strategy
The achievement requires players to kill Brutus immediately as soon as he spawns. Attacks that have a delay, such as ranged, magic or some special attacks like the dragon dagger will be unable to kill Brutus, even if they can kill him in one hit.
Brutus must be killed once upon entry of the instance before attempting this achievement, so that it can be killed immediately on spawn. Ideally use a dragon halberd special attack, crystal halberd special attack, or Dharok's equipment at low hitpoints. Alternatives include the scythe of Vitur, noxious halberd, soulreaper axe, any godsword, elder maul, Arkan blade, or even a dragon warhammer special attack.
Despite being a free-to-play achievement, it is impossible to achieve on free-to-play worlds in the regular game mode due to the lack of gear to one-hit Brutus.
