2025 Birthday event

The 2025 Birthday event was the twelfth annual birthday event held in Old School RuneScape, celebrating the release of the game on the 22nd of February 2013. As with the previous year's event, the event is minor in scope, in order to reduce developers working on temporary content for extended periods of time.^[1]

Held in the Falador Party Room, there were two tables where players could unlock the classic imp hood and tail, previous birthday events' items, and two noted half full wine jugs. A large black cake could also be found where players can take a slice of birthday cake. These slices restore 3 hitpoints each.

Interacting with the tables prompted Party Pete to ask the player to find out who was eating all the deviled eggs Pete has prepared for the event. Deviled Dave could be found in the Party Room's corner. Talking to him revealed that he is in actuality Evil Dave in an imp disguise. He overheard his mother Doris and Gertrude talking about the birthday and wanted to eat Pete's famous deviled eggs, even changing his name so he would not be recognised. He gives the player a classic imp hood and tail so they can look "EVIL" as well.

• Claiming rewards from the tables before claiming the classic imp hood and tail from Deviled Dave will result in the player receiving four half full wine jugs in total.
