An attempt to pick up an Easter egg.

The 2013 April Fools event started on 1 April 2013 and ended on 4 April 2013.

On 1 April 2013, Jagex shared in a post, "Happy Easter!" and announced that they would be adding rares back in the game in the form of partyhats and Easter eggs.[1][2] Once in the game, however, the items appeared to move and float about the area: a clear sign that they were fake. If the player attempted to pick them up, nothing would show in their inventory; if they cast Telekinetic Grab on one of the items, they would only receive a cabbage or a pink skirt.
