The steam press can be found on the second floor of the elemental workshop. It is one of the four machines used to make a primed bar from elemental metal. This machine presses the bar that has previously been heated with the old crane. After it has been pressed, it needs to be quenched in the water tank.

Before it can be operated, the junction box puzzle has to be solved first. Then it is operated by simply pulling the old lever nearby.
