The extractor hat is part of the extractor in the elemental workshop. It takes mind energy from the player to turn a primed bar into a primed mind bar. Operating the extractor hat with a primed bar on the extractor gun drains 20 Magic levels temporarily. While sitting in the chair the extractor hat becomes part of the player model and the extractor hat-top object gets placed above the player.
