Description	Deep in the elven forests of Isafdar, live a duo of roving elves: Islwyn, a grumpy, old elf who dislikes humans and his companion, Eluned, who is a beautiful, friendly, young female elf with a kind heart. In this quest, you are challenged to overcome Islwyn's prejudice against humans and alleviate the burdens of the past.
Requirements	Completion of the following quests: Regicide Underground Pass Biohazard Plague City Waterfall Quest The ability to defeat a level 84 enemy unarmed, with heavy restrictions 56 Agility ^[boostable] ^{[not required to start]}, unless travelling with a charter ship to the elven woods

Recommended	60 Combat level The requirements to start Mourning's End Part I directly after this quest, to obtain the teleport crystal 60 Ranged ^{[not boostable]} 50 Thieving ^{[not boostable]} Completion of Sheep Herder and Big Chompy Bird Hunting Antipoison and food Ring of recoil, goblin paint cannon, Prayer potions (for players with 43 Prayer to sustain Protect from Melee), and a super combat potion in the fight against the Moss Guardian. Ironman concerns	You must briefly visit Glarial's Tomb which has significant item restrictions. Items dropped outside the tomb may be picked back up within three minutes.

Walkthrough

Tracking Islwyn

Items recommended: teleport to Ardougne and either: ring of charos(a) & 1600gp or 3200gp for each trip.

Head to Tirannwn (Catherby teleport (tablet), use charter to Port Tyras)
Track down Islwyn, who will be either west of Lletya or north-east of the Tyras Camp. Use this map to assist you. (If the elves are not there, switch worlds until they appear)
Offer your help to Islwyn. ( 1•1)…

Obtaining the Seed

Items needed: Glarial's pebble
Items recommended: skills necklace, food, prayer potions, ring of recoil

Bank all your combat equipment, runes included.
- Go to Tree Gnome Village dungeon and retrieve Glarial's pebble if you didn't save one from Waterfall Quest.
Travel north-west of the Fishing Guild and use Glarial's pebble on Glarial's tombstone.
Kill a Moss Guardian (level 84). It will drop a consecration seed.
Take the seed to Eluned.

Planting The Seed

Items needed: rope, spade, consecration seed
Items recommended: games necklace (to Barbarian Outpost), Ardougne teleport.

Enter the Waterfall Dungeon.
- Board the log raft north of Baxtorian Falls.
- Use a rope on the rock.
- Use a rope on the dead tree.
- Open the door to enter.
(Skip this step if you already have the key.) Search the most northern crates in the east room for a key.
Take the west path all the way north.
Left click the seed in the final room to plant it.
Return to Islwyn to choose your reward.
Congratulations, quest complete!
- Optional: Speak to Eluned to start Mourning's End Part I, which will allow you to receive the teleport crystal to Lletya.

Crystal shield or bow with 500 charges

Unlocks:

Moss Guardian accessible in the Nightmare Zone.
Isafdar painting for the Quest hall, which is required for completing the hard Western Provinces Diary.
