A rope bell-pull can be built in the bell pull space of the dining room in a player-owned house. It requires 26 Construction to build and gives 64 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

Bell-pulls immediately call the player's servant provided they currently have one employed, making the placement of a dining room important for efficient Construction training. Many players choose to locate their dining room close to the exit portal to efficiently make planks, or nearby to their kitchen, the location of many hotspots used to quickly train with furniture such as teak kitchen tables and oak larders.
