The Rope is an unused animation item presumably intended for use during Mountain Daughter, when using a rope to climb down the cliffside into the Mountain Camp. Although it has a model for use when equipped, it is not used in any animations.
Its inventory icon has the appearance of mud, as it was never meant to be seen outside of the animation.
