The Paintbrush is an unobtainable item that appears in the game's code but does not spawn anywhere, that would have been added alongside Construction.

Presumably, it was intended for use on a banner easel in a Player-owned house Workshop; it can be seen in unused animations for this purpose. Identical paintbrushes can be seen lying next to the banner easel and the shield easel.

It is possible that the paintbrush was intended to be an obtainable item rather than merely used in an animation, given that it can be turned into banknotes. However, it lacks a proper inventory sprite suggesting it was scrapped early in development.
