The Magic carpet is an animation item that is temporarily wielded by the player when using a magic carpet. Because the item is technically wielded in the weapon slot, originally players could not carry any weapons when using the carpet. Its inventory sprite has the appearance of a knife, as it was never meant to be seen in the inventory.
