Kovac is a hill giant smith residing in the Giants' Foundry beneath the Giants' Plateau. Players can purchase unique Smithing rewards from his shop in exchange for Foundry Reputation earned by Smithing commissioned swords.
Players may use the untradeable rewards on Kovac to return them for 80% of the original price except for the Colossal blade.

Trivia
- "Kováč/kovač" means "blacksmith" in several Slavic languages, with variants thereof commonly used as a Slavic surname.
- "Kovács" means "smith" in Hungarian.
- The name of another Giant, Obor, is also derived from the Slovak language.
- Prior to the release of Sleeping Giants, Kovac appeared as a generic and inaccessible hill giant, wielding a hammer. He could not be reached or interacted with as he was blocked off by rocks.
