The giant rat bone is a bone dropped by giant rats, giant crypt rats, or dungeon rats that is on the Odd Old Man's wish-list during the Rag and Bone Man I quest. It must be put in a pot of vinegar, making a bone in vinegar, which then must be boiled on the pot-boiler to produce a polished giant rat bone. The polished bone can then be handed in to the Odd Old Man.

After the quest is complete, it is no longer possible to obtain this item.
