Generous treaters are costumed NPCs encountered during the 2022 and 2023 Halloween events. Finding one and choosing the 'Trick-or-Treat' option rewards you with 100 treats. Each only stays in place for a short time (roughly 3 minutes), before teleporting away. The following is a list of incomplete, but known, locations where one could possibly find a generous treater:

Logging out resets the Trick-or-Treat 'timer': this makes it possible to Trick-or-Treat the generous treater to receive 100 treats, log out and back in, and Trick-or-Treat again for another 100 treats. Repeating this process allows one to quickly gather treats while the generous treater remains.

Generous treaters do not spawn at fixed moments, as they will only appear on the condition people are trick-or-treating in the nearby area.[1] Moreover, the rate at which generous treaters spawn scales with the number of active trick-or-treaters.[2] There does appear to be a minimum delay imposed on the spawn of a generous treater, which presumably starts ticking down at the end of the previous visit made by a generous treater.[3]
