Demonic Rebound is an elite combat achievement requiring the player to use Vengeance against the Abyssal Sire's explosion attack.
Strategy
In order to cast shadow spells to disorient the Sire, the player must use Spellbook Swap to swap to the Ancient spellbook. The explosion attack can deal up to 96 damage, so it is highly recommended to have as many Hitpoints as possible and boost it with a Saradomin brew or Anglerfish. It is also recommended to kill the four spawns that appear when the Sire roots itself to avoid having them waste Vengeance.
Staying alive is not required for successfully completing the achievement, so you can also try this without a lot of health.
Another account can also cast Vengeance Other on you, and it will count toward this combat achievement, eliminating the need for a way to change spellbooks. The other account does not have to be on an Abyssal demon Slayer task to do this.
Since the fight does not stop if you teleport out, another strategy is to start the fight with the Ancient spellbook, kill the scions at the beginning of phase 3, teleport out, switch to the Lunar spellbook, come back and cast the vengeance. It is recommended that you have a Lunar Altar in your POH if doing this strategy, since taking too long to come back can make the fight reset.
