Cave lizards are creatures native to the Ourania Cave. They can be seen fighting the Zamorakian guards on the path to the Ourania Altar.

They are only aggressive towards players if they have first attacked a Zamorakian guard. Due to their relatively low stats, they do not pose much of a threat by themselves.

Players gain no experience for damage inflicted on these lizards, and they do not count towards a slayer assignment.

• The cave lizard's base model has an unused alternate colour scheme, which is normally unseen because the cave lizard NPC overwrites it with the colours seen in-game.
