A teak telescope can be built in the telescope space of the study in a player-owned house. It requires 64 Construction to build and gives 181 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

Players can use the telescope to determine the rough landing location of a Shooting Star with an accuracy of 9 minutes. Telescopes will point to the general region where a star will fall, so players will still need to search for the exact spot.

• Even though this piece of furniture cannot be made into a flatpack, a flatpackable version of it exists in the game files, albeit unobtainable.
