A large orrery can be built in the globe space of the study in a player-owned house. It requires 95 Construction to build and gives 1,420 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

• Although a viewer would expect this model to show Gielinor as the larger planet (with Zanaris in orbit), comparing the configuration with the Small orrery confirms it's more likely the smaller planet being orbited by two moons; one of which is previously unknown.
  • Because in Gielinor the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, the planet must be orbiting the star and rotating in a counterclockwise (prograde) fashion. Only the planet with two moons matches this configuration. Unless the player simply built this model upside down.
• According to Professor Gronigen in the 26th Postbag from the Hedge, the Large orrery is based on the Orrery created by Scorpius at the Observatory. Scorpius' notes on the project were lost in a goblin raid, leaving no explanation for the presence of a second planet in the model.^[1]
• Even though this piece of furniture cannot be made into a flatpack, a flatpackable version of it exists in the game files, albeit unobtainable.
