Swimming in Venom is a grandmaster combat achievement requiring the player to kill Araxxor without having him move.
Strategy
Players are advised to bring a heavy ranged weapon (ideally a heavy ballista and dragon javelins with Rigour), as killing the Mirrorback Araxyte early on will reduce a large amount of recoil damage that would otherwise be incurred. This can also be used against Acidic Araxytes if the player does not want to handle flicking them, as they may end up in a position where they will attack in sync with Araxxor from the centre of the arena. Ruptura Araxytes can be easily ignored.
It is highly recommended that this achievement be attempted with a green egg starter, as this will result in Araxxor using Acid Ball - this attack is launched in one of eight directions depending on where Araxxor is facing, and players can manipulate it so that Araxxor will only launch the ball towards one direction. The acid generated by the ball is also lower, with only one tile ragged at most, as the resulting splatter will harmlessly land around the edges of the arena.
During the enrage phase, the player is highly encouraged to use the step-under method in order to prevent Araxxor from moving. This is especially important if the player does not have a good crush weapon, as space could be severely limited. With good gear and few ragged tiles, the step-under method can be optional.
