Sam is the barmaid at the entrance to the Burthorpe Games Room. She explains what games can be played and how to play the games in the game room. She stocks the same beers as Tostig from the nearby Toad and Chicken pub: 12 Asgarnian ale, 12 Wizard's mind bomb, and 12 Dwarven stout at 2 coins each.

When asking to buy a drink through dialogue, she tells the player "I'm afraid I don't sell drinks." Despite this, players are able to buy drinks from her via the "Trade" option. This same inconsistency is shared between Rachael in the Burthorpe Games Room. Meredith at the board games section of the Grand Exchange shares the same dialogue, however, players are unable to trade her for drinks.
Her trade interface is titled "The Toad and Chicken," which is the name of the bar in central Burthorpe above the Rogue's Den.
