Red crabs can be caught by crab trapping on Pandemonium with level 21 Hunter. In order to catch the crabs, a crab trap must first be built over an empty hole and baited with fish offcuts. Catching a red crab awards 64 Hunter experience. The crab can then either be prepared with a knife to produce raw red crab meat, which can then be cooked into red crab meat, or the crab can be processed with a pestle and mortar to produce crab paste, a Herblore secondary used in the creation of anti-odour salt and super hunter potions.
