Rebel scouts are characters that appear outside instanced combat areas during Song of the Elves. Should the player die in the battle encounters in either Lletya or the Underground Pass during the quest, players can retrieve their items from them for a fee of 80,000 coins. The retrieval fee can be directly taken from the player's bank.

The Lletya scout is located by the trees hiding the entrance to the town. (Players teleporting with a teleport crystal will be taken there during that particular part of the quest.)

The Underground Pass scout is located by the stairs in the southern part of the large chamber with the massive pit (Iban's lair level).

If the player dies during the battle encounter with Fragment of Seren, the Rebel Scout will be located outside of the entrance to the boss fight.
