The Ardougne knight platelegs is a piece of equipment used in Song of the Elves. It is obtained by the player asking Edmond to polish steel platelegs, wiping the Defence requirement and making this the only method for accounts such as one-defence pures to complete Song of the Elves. It shares the same bonuses as iron platelegs. It is impossible to obtain for players with the required Defence level to wear steel platelegs, even if deboosting Defence level.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room, as part of the Ardougne knight armour set. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored. If lost, a pair of steel platelegs can be used instead to store in the armour case.
