A reanimated imp can be spawned by casting the spell Basic Reanimation on an ensouled imp head. The spell can be cast within a 31x31 area where the head was dropped by an imp. This will work indefinitely, even if the ensouled head is picked up, so long as it is not put into the bank, a trade screen, the Grand Exchange, or the price checker. If the player has done one of these things, they will no longer be able to reanimate the imp in the area where it was killed, but can still reanimate it within range of the Dark Altar. Killing a reanimated imp will grant the player 286 Prayer experience.

If reanimated in the God Wars Dungeon, they do not provide follower kill count.
