Ready to Pounce is a hard combat achievement which requires the player to kill Sarachnis without her using her range attack twice in a row.
Strategy
This achievement is most easily done with melee in a solo encounter as this makes Sarachnis' attacks very predictable. To avoid damage from her, players should stand in the centre of the room as she spawns (see image), activate Protect from Melee, and wait for her sticky web attack.
Aranea boots will easily allow the player to remain in melee distance, preventing any ranged attacks from occurring. Otherwise, standing in the area marked in the image will ensure players will only get hit once by her Ranged attack after her web attack, as players will be able to move within range of her melee attack from anywhere in the marked area. If done correctly, she should never be able to damage players off prayer, and should allow players to complete the Inspect Repellent achievement as well, if they haven't already completed it.
