The Soil on the roof of the Troll Stronghold is made into a New farming patch during My Arm's Big Adventure.

Similarly, the Icy rocks near Weiss are turned into new farming patches during Making Friends with My Arm.

These patches cannot be used for farming; one can use the herb patch nearby.

To make the soil into a farming patch, one first needs to apply three buckets of Ugthanki dung and seven buckets of supercompost to fertilize the soil. Then the quest takes the player to Death Plateau, and weeds grow on the patch. After these weeds are raked by My Arm, the new farming patch is ready to grow some hardy goutweed.

The patch in Weiss is prepared during the quest, without explicit help of the player.

• Several failed attempts can be seen south of the farming patch.
