Ali the camel is the pseudonym adopted by two camels in southern Pollnivneach, prior to the events of The Feud. After completion of the quest, their true names are revealed as Jasim the camel and Ibil the camel. They can be found in a pen near the local camel trader, Sami, where more ugthanki dung can be obtained by using red hot sauce on their food trough.

Using the 'Pet' option will prompt the player to say one of four things:

  • That beast would probably bite my fingers off if I tried to pet it.
  • I'm not going to pet that! It will probably bite my hand off, that filthy beast.
  • Mmmm... you'd make a tasty kebab.
  • I'm not going to pet that nasty creature! I might get fleas... or worse!

The camels will only respond to these provocations if the player is wearing a camulet.

Trivia

  • In the examine text of Ali the Camel it is mentioned that he is a 'yellow horse', despite horses not existing in RuneScape, having a mythological status in the game.
