Long rope is an item used to create permanent Agility shortcuts and is available for purchase from Drasdan Ranor in the Darkmeyer General Store for 52,000 coins (you must be wearing the Vyrewatch noble outfit to access the store, unless you have completed The Blood Moon Rises quest). While using a shortcut has an Agility level requirement, initially creating the shortcut with long rope does not. Boosts can be utilised to use the shortcuts.

Two can be used on the eastern wall of Darkmeyer to create a shortcut, requiring level 63 Agility to use. This is a prerequisite to access the Darkmeyer wall jump agility shortcut to the master clue STASH, requiring level 86 Agility to use.

One can also be used on the rocks on the tall cliff at the end of the Viyeldi caves to create a shortcut, requiring level 91 Agility and completion of Legends' Quest to use.
