Lieve McCracken is a woman located by the entrance of the Kraken Cove. If players attempt to attack the monsters in this area, she will stop them from doing so if they are not on a Slayer assignment, stating the cove is only for those who have a Slayer task.

She states that she's an infamous pirate who is wanted in several kingdoms for murder, armed robbery, and flag desecration. When asked where her ship and crew are, she says that they were destroyed by the cave krakens and waterfiends that she brought to the Cove for a relative of hers. Her ship can be seen inside the Kraken's cavern, along with a single dead crewman.

Lieve can enhance the trident of the seas or swamp by giving her ten kraken tentacles, costing 2,083,760, turning them into a enhanced version respectively, increasing the maximum capacity charge from 2,500 to 20,000. Players can give all of the tentacles in at once, though she'll also hold them for the player if desired. Players can also give tentacles in noted form.

Note that you cannot retrieve a kraken tentacle once it has been given to her.

• Lieve's name is a play on "Leave my kraken".
• When referring to the waterfiends in her cave, Lieve says "Those were a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one". This is a reference to Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace .
