Keenan was a youth on the island of Wyrmscraig, and the missing son of Muriel. During the Fallen From Grace quest, the player attempts to find him in order to gain the trust of the people of Auchrie. Tragically, he was slain by Elessia a day or two before the player arrived.

After defeating the Mad Angel, the player discovers his corpse and searches it to find the final letter before returning to Cormac in Auchrie to report what happened. Using the notes he left behind, the people of Auchrie manage to create some prototype golems.

• Keenan's name and examine text may be a reference to the character Gareth Keenan from British television series The Office. In the episode Staff Training, Gareth sings "She's dead!" during a performance of Free Love Freeway, something which David Brent refutes.
