Two strings of floating books are located on the top floor of the warped Grand Library of Prifddinas, which is accessed along the course of the Song of the Elves. The floating books can be used as improvised handholds in order to traverse the gaps that have formed in the upper floor galleries of the distorted library, in an effort to complete the quest's light puzzle.
Some unique mechanics are involved in crossing the floating books, as the chance of successfully braving this obstacle is influenced by recent failures to hold onto the books.[1] After falling down once, players can expect a guaranteed crossing at around level 93 Agility.[2] Falling inflicts a moderate amount of damage, leaving the player on the middle floor of the library.
