The Edgeville furnace is a small building in Edgeville known for hosting the closest free-to-play furnace to a bank. Members can wear Varrock armour to gain a 10% chance of smelting two of their bars at once, with higher-tier Varrock armours allowing players to receive the effect for bars made of higher-level metals.

Varrock armour bonus

As stated above, higher-tier armour affects higher-level bars:

Armour Affected bars
Varrock armour 1 bronze, blurite, iron, lead, and steel
Varrock armour 2 Above, plus mithril, gold, and 'perfect' gold
Varrock armour 3 Above, plus adamantite
Varrock armour 4 Above, plus cupronickel

Lovakite and elemental bars must be crafted at their dedicated furnaces, and thus the armour's boost cannot be used. Additionally, lunar bars do not trigger the effect.
