Death note was a scroll of parchment that the Grim Reaper had jotted ghost sightings onto, to be given to the player to use as a reference during the first half of the 2017 Halloween event.

If the scroll was destroyed, another one could be retrieved from the Grim Reaper in Lumbridge Graveyard.

• The item is likely a reference to the name of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's 2003 manga Death Note.
