Camp Sapphire Lagoon

Camp Sapphire Lagoon is a swampy island located south of Lumbridge Swamp. It could only be reached via a rowboat, directly south of the Fishing Tutor, and it was the main location of the 2017 Halloween event.

The island was the site of a massacre, as Jonas killed all but one of the inhabitants of the camp after his mother died at the camp due to the negligence of others. Jonas was killed by Jarvis, the only survivor of the massacre, and Jarvis remained on the island, slowly losing his mind due to all the death he witnessed.

During the 2017 Halloween event, Jonas is inadvertently brought back from the spirit world by the player, who is tasked by Death with seeking out Jarvis and finding a way to defeat Jonas once more. Jarvis and the player manage to trap Jonas in stasis beneath the water off the shore of the island, with Jarvis losing his life in the process if the player was too slow to trap Jonas.

• Due to the island being reached from the same rowboat that takes players to the Misthalin Manor island, the two islands may be nearby each other, or are one and the same.
• Like the rest of the 2017 Halloween event, the camp is a reference to the Friday the 13th series. Specifically, it is a reference to the "Camp Crystal Lake" in the series.
