Jarvis Thompson is a man involved with the 2017 Halloween event. Players enlist his help to trap Jonas.
Jarvis was a camp counselor at Camp Sapphire Lagoon, and was the sole survivor of Jonas's onslaught on the island. He was the one who had killed Jonas in the past, and did such a number on him that by the time the Grim Reaper came for his soul, his face was unrecognisable, and left his machete wedged in the middle of his face.
He helped the player capturing Jonas in a time bubble in the depths of the lagoon. If the player wasn't fast enough in trapping him, there was a chance that Jonas would kill Jarvis. Jarvis would be honoured with a gravestone marked with the letter "J" and a scroll with the number 17 with Jonas' bloody harpoon leaning against it at the Lumbridge Graveyard.

Trivia
- Jarvis Thompson is based on the character Tommy Jarvis who appears in three of the twelve Friday the 13th films.
