The Cult of Hazeel are a group of zealots who worship Hazeel, a Zamorakian Mahjarrat. They play a focal part in the Hazeel Cult quest, in which they attempt to resurrect him. Their base is in a sewer found south of Ardougne and east of the Clock Tower. Before the player can enter, they must first correctly manipulate the sewer valves.
In the quest, players have the option to either join the cult or side with the Carnillean family; if the player joins the cult, Hazeel will successfully be resurrected. If the player opposes the cult, Evelot, a member of the Khazard Army, is hired to recover the Hazeel scroll and successfully does so at some point after the events of the quest, leading to Hazeel being resurrected regardless of the player's choice.
Members
There are eight known members of the cult, not including Hazeel himself. As indicated by their dialogue and the symbols they wear, they are Zamorakians, due to the fact that Hazeel helped betray Zaros at the end of the Second Age.
