The blue cog is a quest item used only in Clock Tower. It is found in a rat cage at the end of the path behind a push-able wall, which is accessed through a ladder north-east of the Clock Tower and south of the camel habitat of the Ardougne Zoo.

It is used to repair the southern blue clock spindle on the 1^st floor.

Duplicates can be acquired by picking up another one after putting the first cog on the clock spindle and before completing the quest. Once the quest is completed, the cog can not be picked up from the spawn or if the duplicate is dropped.
