The All Stars: PvP Championship was an invite-only in-person PvP tournament that took place on 24 November 2018. It was streamed live on the official Old School RuneScape Twitch channel starting at 05:00 UTC and ran for around 9 hours.
Following up from the 2017 PvP Championship the prior year, it featured 16 creators who competed for their share of $30,000 and a trophy. The winner of the tournament was Manked, beating DitterBitter 4-0 and winning every single match he played.[1]
Format
There are four groups, each with four players. It is round robin, meaning each player plays all others in the group. Each match is best of three, with each round using a different account build. The top two players from each group will progress to the knock-out bracket, with the bottom two players from each group being eliminated from the tournament. The knock-out bracket is straight elimination. The quarter final is best of three, the semi-final is best of five, and the final is best of seven.[2]
The fights all took place in the 1v1 Arena, which consisted of four separate arenas. This area remains present in the game, and a copy of it was reused for the Realm of Memories in the 20th and 25th Anniversary events.
