A weedy patch can be found in the south-western part of Etceteria. The patch can be raked after the Royal Trouble quest to gain approval rating for the Managing Miscellania activity. In order to rake the patch, the player requires level 10 Farming and a rake in their inventory. Each weed that is raked from the patch yields 1 point towards the player's approval rating.

Success chance

The following success rates are provided by Jagex. The chance of successfully raking the patch depends on your Farming level. Successfully raking will reduce the amount of weeds in the patch by 1 stage, add 1 weeds to your inventory, grant 0.1 Farming experience, and 0.78% approval rating; if you fail, you will automatically attempt to rake it again in 4 ticks (2.4s). Once successfully raked 3 times, you'll need to wait for it to become weedy again.
