A dry patch can be found in the south-western part of Etceteria. The patch can be watered after the Royal Trouble quest to gain approval rating for the Managing Miscellania activity. In order to water the patch, the player must use a filled watering can on the patch, requiring level 10 Farming (the Gricoller's can may also be used). Each time the patch is watered, 1 point is gained towards the player's approval rating.
The patch can be watered twice before it cannot be watered further. The patch loses a level of watering after 30 seconds.
