A spadeful of coke is an item used within the Blast Furnace minigame. Players may use the spadeful of coke to refuel the Furnace Stove from the Coke storage. Doing so will grant the player 5 Firemaking experience. Eventually, if a player keeps loading in the coke, they will receive a message in the chatbox saying that the furnace is full, after which they will have to move on to another task or wait until it requires more fuel.
Trivia
- In real-life, coke is an essential part of the steel-making process, providing a majority of the carbon content required to smelt iron into steel. The use of coke in the Blast Furnace may explain why it is so much more efficient than standard smelting, as coke is a highly refined version of coal.
