Lizards are unlocked as a Slayer task after Slayer level 22. With a Slayer level of 44, players may kill sulphur lizards or grimy lizards instead.

Sulphur lizard	50	50	Karuulm Slayer Dungeon (1^st floor)	Requires 44 Slayer. Players must wear boots of stone, boots of brimstone, or granite boots to protect themselves from the extreme heat (unless the elite Kourend & Kebos Diary has been completed). Unlike desert lizards, these do not require ice coolers to finish off. These also access the gem drop table fairly frequently, at a rate of 6/128 (~1/21.33).
Grimy lizard	50	75	Neypotzli (Streambound Cavern)	Requires 44 Slayer and completion of Perilous Moons. Unlike desert lizards, these do not require ice coolers to finish off. However, they are poisonous. Within the cavern, with 38 Herblore moonlight potions can be made for Prayer restoration and melee stat boosts, and with 30 Cooking cooked bream or cooked moss lizard can be used to restore health.

A cannon placed nearby can easily draw the lizards in.
