Rapid Succession is an elite combat achievement which requires the player to kill all three Dagannoth Kings within 9 seconds of the first one. Ironmen cannot use main accounts to help tank the Kings to complete this challenge.

The Voidwaker special attack is guaranteed to deal at least 50% of your melee max hit. Use your regular gear to attack two of the Dagannoth Kings until their health is below 50% of your melee max hit (below 20 hitpoints should be enough), then kill the third Dagannoth King. Then, quickly switch to your melee gear and kill the remaining two Kings with Voidwaker special attacks. They should die after one special attack hit each, completing the combat achievement.

To complete this task you should first determine if it's better for you to use Magic or Ranged attacks. Based on your skill levels and gear either method could be more viable for you. For a Magic-based approach bring your strongest Barrage or Burst spell on the Ancient spellbook, and for a Ranged-based approach bring your strongest Chinchompa.

When gearing for this task take full tribrid gear including a non-AoE weapon for all combat styles. In addition, bring your AoE method of choice, whether that be the Magic- or Ranged-based approach. You may also consider bringing Justiciar equipment to tank the Melee and Ranged attacks while praying Protect from Magic. Food and potions for the trip should be balanced for the purpose of staying alive long enough to reattempt this task, and not to continue a long trip after finishing the task.

After entering the cave bring Prime to below 10% health, which is about 25 hitpoints. Next, if you've brought a Ranged AoE attack then begin to attack Rex and bring him to 10% health, or if you brought a Magic AoE attack then begin to attack Supreme and bring him to 10% health.

Next, attack the final King using a non-AoE attack to bring it to 12%-15% health. Then manoeuvre the Kings into a position where attacking this final King with an AoE attack will also attack the other two Kings. If you set the health up correctly you are likely to kill both of the Kings you aren't currently attacking first, and then you can switch to your normal weapon to finish off the final King. If the final King remaining is Supreme then the Crystal Halberd should be able to land a decisive final hit with its special attack.

Safest way to set up the kill situation is to first get into a place where you are only attacking Prime. You can lower Prime's health low, keeping protect from magic on. At that point you can tag Rex and lure it into its safespot, where you can lower its health.

When both Rex and Prime have low health, you can change to your melee gear, keep protect from magic on, and melee Supreme. This way you only need to tank hits from Supreme and Rex, and you can possible even entangle Rex to take even less damage while killing Supreme.

The tribrid solo strategy can be difficult due to all three Dagannoth Kings attacking you at once. To make it easier, a group of players can enter the cave before you and tank the attacks from each King. You can then enter the cave and attack each King without worrying about the Kings attacking you back, since each King is busy attacking another player instead. So long as you are the only player to attack each King, the combat achievement can be completed. Note that this strategy won't work for Ironmen.
