The partyhat & specs is acquired by taking both a blue partyhat and sagacious spectacles to Patchy on Mos Le'Harmless. Doing so requires the completion of Cabin Fever. Players do not need to have the Book o' piracy in their inventory. Players can also take it back to Patchy to revert it into the original items. It costs 500 coins to attach the items together and 600 coins to take them apart. It resembles the look of the Wise Old Man in Draynor Village.

It can be stored in the treasure chest of a player-owned house.
