Mod Ed is a Principal Narrative Designer at Jagex. Originally employed as a Junior QA Analyst as part of an internship in 2016, he left after the release of Wintertodt due to having completed his summer internship, later returning as a full-time employee with the same role on 18 April 2017.

As a Principal Narrative Designer, he is responsible for directing the overall story arc and lore of Old School RuneScape, as well as ensuring said lore is consistent with established lore in RuneScape when applicable. He has composed 13 pieces of music for Old School Runescape, making up 1.1% of all music in the game.
