Mod Gengis

Mod Gengis is a former Product Manager at Jagex. He led the vision and execution of the Official Client initiative, overseeing both the mobile and desktop clients, the plugin ecosystem, and the upcoming renderer update that will bring official HD support to both platforms.

In addition to client development, Mod Gengis focused on improving the First-Time User Experience (FTUE) for new players joining Old School RuneScape. He regularly engaged with the community to identify areas for improvement in the early game experience.

In 2025, Mod Gengis was a keynote speaker at RuneFest, where he presented the Game Client & Tech segment[1], offering insight into the future of the Old School client, plugins, and rendering technology.
