Kalphite queen legs are the remains of the Kalphite Queen's exoskeleton when she transforms from her crawling form to her airborne form. Soon after the transformation, the legs disappear. Players cannot interact with the legs, only examine them.

The legs are solid and cannot be passed through unless the player stands beneath the Kalphite Queen as she sheds her exoskeleton. This is especially useful for lower-level players flinching, as the animation gives ample time for gear-switching, food and other aids such as vengeance without nearly as many Kalphite workers attacking simultaneously.
