Grapevines are plants that play a part in the Garden of Tranquillity quest. In the quest, an adventurer helps Bernald cure these diseased vines.

Initially, the adventurer tries to use plant cure on the vines, but this does not work. Then Bernald tells the adventurer to seek help from Alain. Following his advice, the adventurer adds rune dust to the plant cure making it into special plant cure, which will finally cure the grapevines.

After curing the vines, Bernald gives the adventurer some vine seeds that are then used to grow some Burthorpe vines in Queen Ellamaria's garden.
