Charos was a diplomat who previously resided in Morytania.[1] He was talented in the art of spying, assassination, and negotiation. These were in part his own ability, further enhanced by the ring that he had fashioned.[2] This ring allowed him to convince all but the most strong-minded to do his bidding.[3] Charos rose to prominence under the rule of Lord Lowerniel Vergidiyad Drakan, and was Drakan's only living servant.[4] During his service to Lord Drakan, he had the castle on the north coast of Morytania built.[5]
Eventually Charos disappeared. It is not truly known what became of him, rumours say he became too certain of his abilities and attempted to use them on Lord Drakan himself; though the ring would have had little or no effect on such a strong-minded target.[6] Others suggest he may still be alive, and would come to reclaim his ring.[7]
