The gnome maze is a large hedge maze that makes up the exterior part of the Tree Gnome Village. The maze must be solved at least once in order to start the Tree Gnome Village quest.

After the first completion, Elkoy will be available as an escort through the maze both to and from the village, although only if players have started the quest. The maze is also involved in other quests, such as Waterfall Quest (where the player enters the maze dungeon) and Regicide.

• Spirit Tree teleport directly to the centre of the maze.
• Fairy ring to (CIQ) and run west and then north.
• Ardougne cloak teleport to Ardougne Monastery and run west.
• Inside the city is a house portal, which can be reached with a House Teleport spell or tablet if your player-owned house is located in Yanille.
• A yanille tablet (made from using a scroll of redirection on a house tablet) can be used to teleport to the Yanille house portal, even if your house is located elsewhere.
• Minigame teleport to fishing trawler and run west.
• Ardougne Teleport (tablet), run south.
